I didn't notice the server being down. In fact I've had nothing but luck with GMail. Here's a question for you guys...Are you getting ads in your email? Its never been down while I was using it. I have noticed that it sometimes takes a bit longer than usual for just-sent emails to arrive in my inbox but I think that may have more to do with my domain-forwarded email address than Gmail.
