Recycling vs. Breathing

Friend/Neighbor: You don’t recycle!
Me: When I start eating or breathing plastic bottles, aluminum cans, or paper products, I promise I’ll care about recycling. Until then, I’m much more concerned about the incredible air polution that recycling causes, not to mention the economic cost of using expensive “post-consumer” products.

    This is interesting (via Tempus Fugit). The Telegraph - Throw away the green and blue bags and forget those trips to the bottle bank: recycling household waste is a load of, well, rubbish, according to leading environmentalists and waste campaigners….
