Blogging Machine
Dan Rather made a bonehead comment last night.
One would expect that the blogging machine which the White House and the Bush-Cheney campaign has used for any number of purposes over their four years will start now, if it hasn’t started already, to say, listen, Kerry-Edwards, for the good of the country, need to concede.
Michelle Malkin: There is no “Blogging Machine,” Dan
Anyone who thinks that there is anyone at all who can control bloggers is clearly ignorant in the extreme. Bloggers are best described as being part of an adaptive circular society. There are those who are usually on top of the circle, but every once in a while, one of the small fish on the bottom says or does something that gets him rotated to the top. Ideas flow in and out in a very natural way. No one gives me my marching orders, Dan.
I know it is hard for you to fathom that anyone could think that it is in America’s best interest for Kerry to concede, and spare us a pointless battle that he can’t win… everything is part of a big conspiracy with the Whitehouse and Halliburton at the helm. You can’t stand that you’re part of a dying breed of old-world media kings who used to get to soak the public in your exclusive and superior interpretation of world events. You can’t imagine a world in which information is shared amongst people, instead of dictated to them by you and your cronies, so you falsely attack bloggers for being what you are: a f***ing tool.
