“The Apprentice” for Women
Apparently in a move to attract disenfranchised female viewers of the reality TV show “The Apprentice” after Donald Trump, for the second time, chose a man as the winner, Lifetime is creating its own business reality show, for women only.
The new series — tentatively titled “Ms. Mogul” — focuses on 15 women, each with an idea for a small business.
They compete in various business-savvy challenges, and the winner gets $1 million to start up her business.
Each woman will have a mogul-type mentor to help her along the way.
“It’s going to be more loving than ‘The Apprentice,’ ” says creator/executive producer Nely Galan, who is also the creator of “The Swan.” “It’s more about mentors helping these women.
“It’s the ultimate women-empowerment show, showing how to be the ruler of your own destiny and to really have it all without being a victim,” she says.

Nothing wrong with that. I just hope that the confidence the women gain from this “loving” business experience is enough to prepare them for the real world where men do exist and will compete with them for jobs.
