Best Episode Yet

Tonight’s episode of Fox’s terrorist-hunting drama series 24 was quite possibly the best one yet. It was incredibly intense, and something that happened at the end had great potential to go horribly wrong, leaving me on the edge of my seat anticipating it. The series somewhat disappointed in the third season, but I think it is safe to say that in season 4, Jack is back, and the writers of the show are back to their gut wrenching, mind bending bag of tricks.

Shohreh Aghdashloo had an excellent performance as the mother in a Turkish terrorist family who finds out that her son wasn’t really dedicated to their cause, and that he has to be eliminated. It is also encouraging to hear that in real life, the Iranian-born actress is outspoken against terrorism and the theocratic regime in Iran.

Thought the opening ten minutes of the show lacked something, but the ending just put the show up on such a high… still not a patch on the magnificent first season, though.

At least - currently - every new episode is better than the last.

You’ve raved about this show so much that I added the first 3 seasons to my Netflix queue. I won’t have time to watch it this season since I’m finishing up my degree and writing my Master’s project. But maybe by the time I finish, Season 4 will be out on DVD.
