Speed Hump
The street in front of my apartment has a giant “speed hump” (which Chris observes, should be an event in the Gay Olympics). These giant speed bumps are not well marked… as you can see below.
Many times I’ve forgotten about them and gone flying over them. I see the tricked out lowriders from the ghetto go over them too fast and send sparks showering everywhere all the time.
But this morning, when I heard a crash and metal-on-road noise, I knew it was something better than normal. I turned and looked in my window just in time to see the trailer come to a screeching halt, on the side of the street. My first instinct (well, besides laughing hysterically) was to grab my camera.
Apparently they hit the speed hump so hard, they broke or dislodged the trailer from the hitch.
They didn’t seem to be too upset about it… they just looked inconvenienced.
Anyway, that made my day… thought I’d share!
