Falwell Hospitalized
The Rev. Jerry Falwell, unofficial spokesman for God, has been hospitalized for an “undisclosed medical problem.” Falwell angered many two days after the 9/11 terrorist attack when he placed some of the blame on abortionists, pagans, homosexuals and feminists, for having “mocked God.”
It was Falwell’s second admission this year to Lynchburg General Hospital. He was treated for pneumonia for 13 days in late February and early March. For a time, he was on a ventilator.
There is no word on the cause of this second hospitalization, so for the time being it’s probably best just to assume that Falwell did something to mock God. If Falwell taught us anything, he taught us that God is spiteful and petty like that.
