Political Boredom
I don’t know about you, but it’s been a boring couple of weeks of politics for me. I want the Senate to change the filibuster rules, just to stir things up. This whole “you’re going against Senate tradition!” “No, you are!” banter is getting old. Washington doesn’t get much done even when they’re trying to accomplish things. But when one side is refusing to “play” and the other side is too chicken to make them… when politicians aren’t even willing to put up the facade of progressiveness, that’s just sad. Sad, and boring.
