Thank you for visiting our G8 2005 website.
The UK assumes the Presidency of the G8 on 1 January 2005 with the annual Summit taking place at Gleneagles Hotel in Scotland from 6-8 July.
I really want to focus on the challenges of Africa and climate change during our Presidency.

Suddenly “I’m 0.5° C hotter and we need to give Africa lots and lots of money” don’t really seem like priorities.
