<!--%kramer-ref-pre%-->[...] Record Oil Prices Nonsense I see the media has again taken to spewing about "record" oil prices. So I'd like to take the time to remind everybody, again, that $62.55 is not the most ever paid for a barrel of oil after adjustments for inflation. $94.48 would be. Which isn't to say that gas prices aren't high and that they aren't impacting our economy negatively. They are high and there is a negative impact on our economy, but what may be causing more of a negative impact is all this media hype about "record" oil prices. I'm sure it makes for good copy, but unnecessarily alarming the public doesn't do anybody any good. __________________ Air America....The only thing lower than our ratings, is our morals [...]<!--%kramer-ref-post%-->
