Cindy in a Nutshell

I’m loathe to give this poor misguided woman any more airtime, but I couldn’t help but notice a quote from her that really sums up the whole thing quite nicely.

“The whole world is damaged. Our humanity is damaged. If [the President] thinks that it’s so important for Iraq to have a U.S.-imposed sense of freedom and democracy, then he needs to sign up his two little party-animal girls. They need to go to this war.”

Cindy Sheehan

Just like he signed up your son, Ms. Sheehan? Just how he “made” your son sign up for this war?

Of course, he did nothing of the sort. Casey Sheehan volunteered for this war. He did so against his mother’s wishes. Ms. Sheehan couldn’t stop him from signing up, and that is something she can never forgive. She has rather successfully taken the issue of her son’s selfless sacrifice and turned in into an issue of her grief and her anger over his selfless sacrifice.
