Racist Morons Two-for-One Special
The National Socialist Movement, a group self-described as “America’s Nazi Party,” heard about problems with black gang violence in Toledo, OH, and decided to organize a protest march. They were, of course, swathed in swastikas (how’s that for an alliteration?) and carrying signs urging whites to “unite” and “fight for your race.” They performed full Nazi salutes, “Heil Hitler,” and some were in uniform. The local black gangs were not amused, and broke out into violence, smashing and turning over vehicles, breaking windows, and setting fires.
Hm… white supremacist group decides to protest black gang violence, and then engages in behavior that spurs the very thing they were protesting, with cameras rolling. Cox and Forkum captures the situation well:
The NSF members, who came unarmed (contrary to the Cox and Forkum cartoon), come out looking as, well, racist assholes… but racist assholes who were protesting a problem that no one can deny, as it happened for the world to see during the protest. Now, predictably, they’re using that problem (black gang violence) as a launching pad into their usual “blacks are sub-human” nonsense.
