Cynthia McKinney on Real Time with Bill Maher
Just flipped on HBO, and Bill Maher was interviewing Cynthia McKinney, the Georgia Congresswoman who tried to bypass a Congressional security check and punched the police officer who tried to stop her. Holy egocentric lying disheveled bitchy evasive windbag idiot, Batman! You know you have problems with you make Bill Maher look moderate and Ben Affleck a little bit less like an autofelating douche. Bill Maher asked her a rather pertinent question about whether or not Ms. McKinney’s ego at all contributed to the incident, and she went off on a tangential stump speech about sticking up for the little guy, and black oppression. Give me a break. She got pissed because she was running late and the security guard (GASP!) didn’t know who she was. So she didn’t stop when she was verbally asked to stop by the police officer three times, and when he physically restrained her (as he should have), she lashed out.
She had an out. She could have apologized (to the person she hit), and explained that she was frustrated, and acted out of that frustration. But no, she played the race card and the hair-do card, and now she looks like a moron, and may be facing jail time for her crime. Can’t say that I feel sorry for her… she keeps on digging.
