New Orleans re-elected Ray Nagin as Mayor. Ray “what busses?” Nagin. Unbelievable. Ray “Chocolate City” Nagin. Viva l’incompétence.
In his victory speech, Nagin said “folks who went to the other side, who went to the red-light district, I forgive you.” Apparently if you don’t vote for him, you’re a prostitute. He later explained that he only meant it as a metaphor. Sort of how I’d like to see Ray Nagin tarred and feathered… metaphorically.
With this election, I wash my hands of this stupid, underwater city. Rub-a-dub-dub. Have fun in the “tub.”
