Reader comment: Michael C. Rush says,

You should know that the Richard Dawkins piece you cite was removed by the Huffington Post after being available for just a few moments on Friday and was not relinked at the site until Monday morning after some of us inquired and complained loudly. The Huffington Post has not responded to my questions about who pulled the post and why, and it only reappeared after I alerted the people at richarddawkins.net. Censorship at one of the Web’s leading progressive sites? I’m still waiting for an answer.

Ironically, the above reader comment was posted by Xeni Jardin on this Boing Boing entry… for a few minutes. Then it was deleted.

So to Mr. Rush, who asks “Censorship at one of the Web’s leading progressive sites?” I think you have your answer. And with regard to Ms. Jardin removing (without note) portions of her posts that might reflect poorly on the Left, this is familiar territory. Is anyone serving up a Xeni-less Boing Boing feed? I could do with fewer unicorn chasers and less intellectually dishonest socialist socialite cheerleading.
