The most important day of my life
This is it. May 5th, 2007. Deep breath.
Today I get married to Sarah, the love of my life. I’m nervous not out of lack of confidence. She’s the one. Now is the time. I’m nervous simply because I’m fully aware of the gravity of this day. I can’t minimize the importance in my mind. It’s hard not to be nervous on the most important day of your life, no matter how sure you are of your decision.
I’ll be on honeymoon through May 11th. No e-mail, no phone. No contact with the outside world. Conduct yourself accordingly!
In other May 5th news, congratulations go out to three (well, five) other people today. First to Lloyd Budd, who closes on his first house today with his wife Julia. Second, to Daniel Jalkut who is also getting married today. Third, to Charles Stricklin, who is celebrating his birthday.
Also: Mexico.
Have a great day! Jacinta and I celebrate our first anniversary in just a few days and I can honestly say it’s been a wonderful year.
Congrats and have a nice time on your honeymoon, away from the Internet (I’m told such places exist).
Have a wonderful day and don’t be so nervous you forget to enjoy it to it’s full.
Congratulations to you both.
Plenty of congrats to the lovely couple, hope you have loads of fun and a great time together
Congratulations! Have a wonderful wedding and honeymoon!
Congratulations, Mark!
Also, congrats! Your sentiments are oh so true!
Have fun, and appreciate your fortune!
You already know you two are in my prayers and best wishes. Have a great time on your honeymoon, and we to see some pictures when you get back.
As for my 47th birthday, my family and I went to Texas Roadhouse for dinner and I’m still stuffed 12 hours later. I also received a “Nobody Reads My Blog” t-shirt.
[IMG Sarah Macy and Mark Jaquith] Congratulations to Mark Jaquith, who got married last evening to the lovely Sarah Macy.
