Photos from New York City
Back in November I made my first-ever trip to New York City with Sarah for WordCamp New York 2009. I’ve been backed up on my photo workflow, but am gradually catching up. Here are my New York photos at long last.
I’m trying to move away from Flickr towards something I can control. I’m also experimenting with the include parameter of WordPress’ [gallery] shortcode to pull in photos that aren’t actually attached to this post.

Next photo link doesn’t take you to the next photo in the gallery, just to the next uploaded photo.
I know at least 10 other people who are thinking of trying to get out of Flickr using WordPress. This will be a big thing in the next year or two.
Yeah, right now that’s intended. There is no gallery. All my Flickr-originated photos are attached to my “Photos” page.
Next thing to tackle is proper albums.
