I [W] the web

I’m no designer. Does someone with a bit of design sense want to take a stab at the above concept? Done right, I could see it as a fun t-shirt for WordPress contributors to wear. There are some other fun things you can play with, notably the fact that “web” starts with a “W.” What do you think?

I think it’s actually quite neat. The heart doesn’t look too much like it’s got some kind of band-aid on, plus I like that it’s asymmetric and not as rotund as you could have made it. The only thing I’m not too sure about are the colors; don’t know if I would wear them on a t-shirt.

i am a big fan of simple clean, clear themes, like say journalist 1.3 or say new twenty ten and many more including thematic and hybrid!

Beautiful looking logo, simple, clean, effective. Makes its point & appeals to the part of people that want to belong to something.

I’d actually like to post this image on my blog in the sidebar. Let me know if I can do that, thanks.

My 1st impression was that I liked it, adding the WP logo to a phrase I could agree with made it even better.

Then I somehow merged the “W” and the ‘love’ the heart represents and got this:

      I wuv the web

Not so good anymore. I may be the only one to see that, since objectively it doesn’t really make any sense, but, like the last tune on the radio right before you turn it off, I can’t get it out of my mind.
