Clutter Free
About
Clutter Free is a plugin that lets you hide portions of the WordPress posting interface that you rarely (or never) use. Instead of being minimized (and still taking up room), they’ll be completely invisible.
Clutter Free works on WordPress 2.0.5 and above. With earlier WordPress versions, there are a few areas that cannot be hidden. Upgrade!

I think we can make ue of it, for admin to be able to retrict what other users can see and what they cant, insted of individual user to b able to use it. say for multi-blogger site ??
i hope i make sense
Great plugin, thanks!
Nice - I’ve wanted to remove some of those fields for a while now. This makes things a bit more slick.
Hi, first of all thanks for releasing this great plugin to the public!
I am running the latest wordpress release on Dreamhost with php5 and mysql 4 something I believe, and when having activated your plugin, I only receive blank edit pages. So basically it shows nothing at all.
This is probably not the feature I was looking for, so might this be a bug? I am not really into this, so if you got a solution to this I’d appreciate it!
would be nice if it would support roles, so if i would login under admin, i could do anything, author would have many things hidden.
Like Jez, the same thing is happening to me. It hasn’t before.
Thanks!
hm weird.
I am sure the author will be able to track this nasty little bug down. thanks for any updates,
jez
I agree with Comment #111, The admin should be able to set the visibility globally as opposed to a user to user basis. For example, I am building a social networking site and there are a lot of things I want to hide from everyone. Any Ideas?
It seems that my quicktag menus have all disappeared. I am using 2.2
download now ?

That would be really good…
Hi, guys
So many of you ask for it, I did at simple google search.
Here is a patched version with global options.

Maybe this author could use this to a even better plugin

Nice Site!
I am using WordPress as a content management system for one of my less geeky clients. It is highly unlikely that he will ever use tags. It would be nice to have the option to hide the tag input field just below the editor textarea.
Thanks for a great plugin!
Thank you friend
Thanks

I’m having trouble opening the zip file (I know, I know, stupid woman, doesn’t know what’s she’s doing). It just seems to hang as soon as i hit unzip - I’m using winrar.
If anyone has had a similar issue can you tell me how you got around it?
thankk
thanx so much…
Amazing plugin! Unfortunately, it doesn’t allow blocking of the ‘Tags’ area (under the main post section). To remedy this, I added this at line 39:
‘tagdiv’ => __(’Tags’, ‘clutter-free’),
Tested, works. Hope that helps. Thanks for writing Clutter Free!
Thats what i looked for, great plugin.
