McDonald’s is mad. It seems that in the latest edition of the Merriam-Webster Collegiate Dictionary, there is one new word, “McJob,” that McDonald’s takes particular offense to. “McJob” is defined as “low paying and dead-end work.” They feel this unfairly charactarizes restaurant advancement opportunities and are quick to point out that over 1000 of their owners and operators were once service employees. Yeah? So they’ve got 400,000 employees and a top of the charts turnover rate. Working at McDonald’s is a McJob. End of McStory.
