I’m buying my first vehicle!
I decided on a 2005 Toyota Matrix, with a manual transmission.
I’ll know by Monday which color I’m getting, and I should probably be behind the wheel by next Saturday!

I don’t see how people can drive cars. Maybe its just because I’m a big fella, but I feel uncomfortable in them. It could also be due to the fact that I’ve only ever owned a pickup in my life until just a few months ago when I downgraded to an SUV.
I had to do something, the gas prices are killing me.

The Matrix is roomy for a car. Its space is one of its selling points. I’m also large (6 feet 4 inches) and need adequate room.
I feel very comfortable in big vehicles, but there’s no way I can afford to get something that doesn’t get at least 30 MPG. I thought this car was a good way to meet my gas mileage requirement, as well as my space needs.

Awesome! My roomate is totally in love with his Mazda Protege, and it’s great and all, but I think I’m up for something a little bigger. I must’ve owned my p.o.s. Geo Metro too long lol. I have a 2002 Saturn SC2 right now, with 5 more months remaining on the lease. Really considering the Saturn VUE but I haven’t committed 100% to anything yet. The Toyota RAV4 is actually kinda nice for a change, but damn, Toyota’s don’t come cheap, and I just don’t drive enough, or enjoy driving for that matter, to justify to myself spending a lot of money on a car. If I did, I’d probably snag an RX8!
