After one week on my new server, it is clear that their administration staff isn’t up to the task.
I haven’t been able to receive e-mail for 3 days. In my first week of being with them, I had 3 hours of downtime. Their support staff, while friendly, screwed up big time, and caused hours of headaches for me, and still hasn’t fixed the problem. I gave them an ultimatum. The deadline passed, without so much as a response. Apparently they’ve all left for the weekend.
I’m a very patient person, but when my patience starts to run out, it runs out quickly.
To all my readers, (yeah, all 2 of you), my deepest apologies in advance for any downtime this site might experience. I’m going to do my best to make it a smooth transfer, but that’s not always possible.
Update: The issue has been fixed. I haven’t yet decided if I’m going to switch hosting. I’ve put in an order for another host, and am going to test them out before making my decision.
I don’t really require much support… I just need a host to keep the server running. We’ll see how this all plays out.
